Chad Vaccarino, also known as Chad Kind, is a renowned American singer and songwriter based in New York. He is best known for his collaborations with Ian Axel and their band A Great Big World. Chad met Ian at New York University during the Steinhardt Music Program. They decided to pursue music together and came up with the band in 2011. The band is best known for their song, This Is The New Year, performed in an episode of Glee and made it to the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 Chart in 2013. Their song, Say Something, became one of the most recognized songs, which they made in collaboration with Christina Aguilera. It was featured on So You Think You Can Dance and made it to the Billboard Mainstream Top 5. Their album, ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’ was released in 2014, followed by ‘When the Morning Comes’ the following year.
