Karen Schijman is a stylist, editor, consultant, and most recently designer. At her young age, she was enrolled in BFA in photography at The School of Visual Arts. During her education, styling was not something she had in plan to work longterm. It was later when she discovered that she could connect music, photography, and love for fashion under one name – styling. She managed to find a small yet inspiring group of clients in Ibero – American circles, as of her knowledge of the language and Chilean heritage. During her career as a stylist and consultant, Karen worked on editorials with Boston Common, Fashion Gone Rogue, The knot, London Telegraph. Her corporate clients include Bose, Royal Caribbean, Samsung, Pepsi, and many others. Karen’s big love is music, and it is no strange. She worked with musicians and bands such as Beirut, Robert Plant, The Mowglis’. She also worked with Billy Baldwin, Dylan McDermott, Piers Morgan, Mads Mikkelsen, Matthew Broderick. Lately, Karen is focused on the handbag collection Chascona Bags, and she’s been working as a consultant with young creatives and designers.
