Gary Joseph DeFazio (better known as “Garren”) is a professional stylist and fashion editor born in Niagara – New York, in 1949. From a young age, he was determined to be part of the fashion industry, and managed to participate in the creative process for Vogue and Harper’s Baazar magazines. In 1975 he decided to move to New York City to work in the Bergdorf Goodman salon. His most prominent experience was gained as a stylist for Farrah Fawcett and Audrey Hepburn at the Vanity Fair. Garren later worked for the Calvin Klein brand, and with a career already formalized, he opened “Garren Salon” in Manhattan. Among his featured clients are Karen Elson, Oprah, and Gisele Bündchen.
