Son of Elie Ward, Tony Ward has grown up in Beirut, in an environment that allowed him to share the taste of his predecessors. After working in Paris for seven years, first with Claude Montana at Lanvin, then with Gianfranco Ferre at Dior, and finally, with Karl Lagerfeld at Chloe, Tony learned the intricacies of various fabrics and designing. With calculated measures, he finally launched his line of couture in 1997, Tony Ward Couture. He took his father’s business, established in 1952, to an international level. His designs and sketches were displayed at the Fashion Museum of Paris, and he won the Golden Needle award for the Fashion Designer of the Year for his display in Rome in 2004. Tony opened a store in Moscow and transformed his couture into a luxury brand. He launched his bridal collection in 2011. Tony dressed the top 12 Miss France contestants in 2015, where his association with the contest just began.
