The Temper Trap is one of the most popular indie rock bands based out of Australia. Initially formed in 2005 by Dougy Mandagi, it has the very talented Jonathan Aherne and Toby Dundas. After gaining some recognition through their local gigs in Melbourne, the band decided to shift base to London, where they would begin to work on their debut album. The band finally released their album titled 'Conditions' in June 2009. Their work instantly won critical acclaim, peaking at No.9 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album even made its way onto the Top 30 in the U.K. Albums Chart. In November 2010, Temper Trap won the Best Group and Most Popular Australian Single for their single 'Sweet Disposition.' The band won the Best Rock Album for their second studio album, which was released in collaboration with Glassnote and Infectious Records. The band went on to support Imagine Dragons' tour during their American leg.
