Sylvie Testud
Sylvie Testud is a French actress, film director and writer. She was born in Lyon, France on January 17, 1971. She studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'art Dramatique Cours Florent. Testut received drama classes in Lyon.Testud moved to Paris where she got short roles in films like “L'Histoire du garçon qui voulait qu'on l'embrasse” (1994), and “Love, etc” (1996). Two years later Testud had her first major participation in French cinema with the film "Karnaval" (1998). Her first leading role was with "La Captive" (2000). She won the César Award for the most promising actress (2001) for the film "Les Blessure Assassin’s" (2000). Testud published her autobiography IL n'y a pas beaucoup d'étoiles ce soir (2003.) She was named Chevalier de L'Ordre National du Mérite (2009).
