Popularly known as Sting, Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner is an actor and English musician known for his band ‘The Police’. He is famous for incorporating various elements of jazz, rock, classical, and reggae into his music. Sting introduced the world to a new kind of worldbeat. While being a core member of the band, The Police, he won a total of seventeen Grammy Awards. For the single, ‘Every Breath You Take’, Sting won Song of the Year. He then grabbed his hands on an award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors for the Lifetime Achievement named, Ivor Novello Award. Apart from this, Sting featured in the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for recording. His album sold over 200 million copies and in 2003, he was honored with a CBE at Buckingham Palace for his services to Music.
