Stephen J. Dubner
Born in 1963, Stephen Joseph Dubner, professionally known as Stephen Dubner, is an American radio and podcast host, and journalist. Dubner is the co-author of the book series named Freakonomics, and he hosts Freakonomics Radio as well. When Stephen was only 11 years old, his published work made an appearance in Highlights for Children. Ever since, Stephen's journalism and work have featured in Time, The New Yorker, and The New York Times, among other platforms. His work has also been anthologized in The Best American Crime Writing, The Best American Sports Writing, and some others. Dubner published Turbulent Souls: A Catholic Son's Return to His Jewish Family in 1998. This book also made him a finalist of the Koret Jewish Book Award. He went on to write a book named, Confessions of a Hero-Worshiper, which was published in 2003. Dubner's book on Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything, was published in 2005. It revolved around mama's boys, self-dealing realtors, and cheating teachers. The book sold more than 5 million copies all across the world, and it was also translated to 40 different languages. Other books that were co-authored by Stephen include When to Rob a Bank, Think Like a Freak, and SuperFreakonomics. As a radio host, Dubner hosts several podcasts including Freakonomics Radio Live!
