Steel Magnolia is the name of a country music duo formed by Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, who started out as solo singers. Linsey came across Jones while hosting a karaoke bar called ‘Lonnie’s Western Room’ in Nashville. After seeing Jones perform, Linsey suggested that they audition for the television show ‘Can You Duet’. The duo was selected for the show and went on to become the top winners. They were also signed by Big Machine Records and released their debut hit single ‘Keep On Loving You’ in August 2009, which went on the Top 10 hits of the US Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. Due to some scheduling conflicts with Jones, Linsey continued Steel Magnolia’s tour with fellow country musician James Otto, who had a long-time interest in collaborating with the duo. In March 2014, Linsey and Jones made an announcement that they would no longer be performing together and were  pursuing solo careers.
