Sinead O’Connor is an Irish songwriter who got famous in the 1980s with her debut album The Lion and the Cobra. She further got successful with her single ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’. She has released 10 solo albums with many singles and songs for films. She is also spotted at various charity fundraising concerts. Her singing for Tonton Macoute band brought her into the limelight and O’Connor was later signed by the Ensign Records from where her professional career began. Her first major single was ‘Heroine’ which was for a film and received good reviews. Her album, The Lion and the Cobra earned a Grammy nomination. Mandinka was a single that got very famous in the college events along with “I Want Your (Hands on Me)” as it was a mixed song with raps.
