Famous English singer Shingai Shoniwa was born on September 1, 1981. She is best known as a vocalist and songwriter based in London. Her career started in 2017, and her first solo album was launched in 2020. Initially, she intended to become an actress. Later on, after her graduation, Shingai joined a local theatre and started pursuing singing. Along with Dan Smith, she created a group called the Noisettes. They released their first album in 2002 and named it Raison D'Etre London Vol 1. Rolling Stone magazine has mentioned Shingai as a "living breathing manifestation of the rock & roll spirit." She went on to work with several electronic, punk rock, and indie rock artists for songs including Over the Stairs and Made Up Love Song#43. Shingai also performed with the renowned rapper Dizzee Rascal in 2009 for a charity event at Royal Albert Hall. She was featured in a BBC show called Annual Hootenanny in 2010.
