Sherri Shepherd is a renowned American actress, author, and comedian born on April 22, 1967, in Chicago. Her stand-up career began when she worked as a legal secretary in Beverly Hills. After five years, in 1995, Sherri quit her job as a secretary, and it was only days before Shepherd booked her first series called Cleghorne (1995). After that, she went back to the law firm and took another job. Sherri appeared in ABC's Less Than Perfect in 2002 as Ramona, where her work was widely appreciated.
