Rilo Kiley is an American indie rock band formed in Los Angeles, California. The band consisted of Jenny Lewis (Lead singer) Blake Sennet (Second vocalist and guitarist), Pierre de Reeder (Bassist), and Mike Bloom and Jason Boesel (Drummers).
The band was formed in 1998 and so far they have released 4 albums that include country, folk, and pop music. The group made their debut with the album Take-Offs and Landings with Barsuk Records (2001). Then with Omaha's Saddle Creek Records and they released their album He Execution of All Things (2002). In 2004 they launched their own label Brute / Beaute Records with More Adventurous which was distributed by Warner Bros. Their latest album Under the Blacklight (2007) was directly produced by Warner Bros. The band announced their separation in July 2011.
