Reeve Carney grew up in Manhattan, performing in television commercials and radio since childhood. He was one of the children in the choir in Michael Jackson’s album HIStory (1995) when he was only 10. Reeve released his first Independent play Looking Glass (2004) and collaborated with artists like Jonny Lang to bring it to public attention. He formed a band named Carney, where they played jazz-infused rock. The Band signed with Interscope and released their debut Independent Play, Nothing Without You, in 2008, followed by their debut album Mr. Green Vol. 1 in 2010. The Band toured with The Veronicas and opened for U2. Carney also collaborated with Bono and The Edge and released singles ‘Rise Above 1’ and ‘Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark.’ Carney was assigned to write songs for the films Tempest (2010) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2012).  His debut solo album, Youth is Wasted (2016), won six nominations in the Independent Music Awards.
