Reed Krakoff
Reed Krakoff is an American designer with a glorious career spanning over two decades. Reed got his Fashion Designing degree from Parsons the New School of Design in New York. From there, Krakoff began designing classic American design houses such as Anne Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. Krakoff's career took a leap in the industry for his time spent with an iconic accessories brand, Coach. He was elected vice president of the CFDA in 2007 due to his contributions to the industry. Krakoff launched his eponymous line of women's ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, and accessories in 2010. He has been honored three times with the CFDA award for Accessories Designer of the Year. He remains on the board of the CFDA and currently serves as Head of Admissions. He is also a board member at his alma mater, Parsons the New School for Design. The designer also mentors young designers participating in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
