Peter Brian Gabriel is an English singer, musician, songwriter, activist, and a record producer. Peter got popular after his lead singing in the progressive rock band called Genesis. ‘Bee Gees’ became his first single for the Genesis album. After that, he went on the path of a solo career, his first single ‘Solsbury Hill’ was admired on a large scale. Gabriel’s first album was called ‘So’, which too topped the charts. ‘Sledgehammer’ was the album’s first successful single that got him an MTV award in 1987. He was further nominated for 4 Grammy Awards, Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year. Peter’s songs were labeled in MTV’s most played video of all time.
