Pearl Samantha Davis, popularly known as Pearl Lowe, is a noted English designer. She was born in 1970 in Wimbledon in a Jewish family. Lowe's professional career started as a vocalist in the band Powder. Later she became the face of the band Lodger. Though her career started as a musician, Lowe is mostly known for her foray into fashion and interiors. In 2001 Lowe came out with her signature collection of furnishings named ‘Pearl Lowe’. She also designed interiors for private high-profile clients. Lowe's designer children's wear and women's dresses got popular. It was marketed through The Cross and Liberty in the UK. She has also created a signature collection for Peacocks. Lowe launched the ‘Petite Pearl Lowe’ vintage dress collection for girls under the’ Pearl Lowe’ brand. In 2007 Lowe published her autobiography ‘All That Glitters’. In 2013 She published another book ‘Pearl Lowe's Vintage Craft’. Lowe also ventured on the silver screen and was seen in ‘Britain's Next Top Model’ and ‘Agent Provocateur’.
