Paul Stephen Rudd is an American film actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He was born on April 6, 1969, in Passaic, New Jersey. He studied theater at the University of Kansas and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He attended an acting workshop at the British Drama Academy at the University of Oxford.Rudd made his acting debut in 1992 with the television drama "Sisters." He also appeared in the television series "Wild Oats" (1994), participated in the comedy film "Clueless" (1995), also appeared in "Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers" (1995) "Romeo + Juliet" (1996) "The Locusts" (1997) among others. The year 2004 marked the beginning of his work as a director and producer. He starred in "The Oh in Ohio" and "The Ten" (2007). Rudd has appeared in Broadway plays and was awarded the Film Critics Award (2012) for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.
