Colombian and American fashion journalist Nina García became a household name with the TV program ‘Project Runway’. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, her career began in the PR department for Marc Jacobs. She then moved to ‘Mirabella’, where she worked as an assistant stylist before taking up her position at Elle. In 2000, she was inducted as the Fashion Director of Elle. After a short break in 2008, her contract was renewed in making her the editor-in-chief of Elle, the number one fashion magazine, publishing almost 46 international editions. As a fashion journalist, she has even played host for the Oscars Red Carpet. She has worked as a stylist for popular shows like ‘The View’, ‘Today’, ‘Good Morning America’ and CNN. She has three published books to her credit, where she shares her style secrets with fans across the globe.
