Formed in 2004, the band Naast heralded the new wave of rock in French music. Starting as a duo, the band currently consists of four members. They have Gustave on vocals, Nicolas on drums, Clod on the bass, and Laka on the guitar. The band has played in several shows and has developed a unique sound that has made them a country sensation. Their debut album L'Antichambre became a hit because of the single ‘Mauvais Garçon’, which was eventually used in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Described as ‘innocent and punky’ by Jamie Hince from the band The Kills, the band's concerts were met with throngs of wild crowds. Another single that became a raging hit amongst youngsters was ‘Tu te trompes’, released in March 2007. Unfortunately for fans, the band split after two years of creating enthralling music.
