Michael David Quattlebaum Jr, better known by the stage name, Mykki Blanco, is an American rapper and poet, who gained prominence after the release of their debut extended play titled ‘Mykki Blanco and the Mutant Angels’ in 2012. They released a mixtape, ‘Cosmic Angel: the Illuminati prince/ss’ that same year. Before beginning with their music career, Blanco started writing and publishing poetry. ‘From the Silence of Duchamp to the Noise of Boys’ was the first published book of poems by Blanco. After 2012, Blanco released two EPs called ‘Betty Rubble: The Initiation’ and ‘Spring/Summer’ in 2013 and 2014 respectively before finally releasing their debut studio album called ‘Mykki’ in 2016. They had also released the mixtape titled ‘Gay Dog’ in 2014. Associated with the genres of Alternative hip-hop and hip-hop, some of Blanco’s popular singles include ‘Head is a Stone’, ‘Join My Militia’, ‘She Gutta’, ‘The Initiation’, ‘Feeling Special’, and ‘Wavvy’.
