She started her acting career with the film As Good As It Gets (1997) and went on to act in Galaxy Quest (1999), Home Alone 4: Taking Back The House (2002), Big Fish (2003), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Just My Luck (2006), Soccer Mom (2008), The Artist (2011) and Gone Girl (2014).
