Born on November 7, 1969, in Portland, Oregon, Michelle Renee Clunie decided to pursue her dream of being an actor when she was 19 years old. She sold her violin and moved to Los Angeles, California, where she bagged a role in Dean Orion's 'A Comedy Of Eros,' performing at the Skylight Theatre. Her debut performance was so powerful that Clunie received the Dramalogue Award for Best Actress. She has also starred in Neil Labute's production of 'The Mercy Seat at the Ford Theatre. She won the Backstage Readers Best Performance Award. Clunie also wrote and performed her adaptation of a stage play called 'U.S.' at New York City's Lion Theatre at Theatre Row.
