Maureen Denise McCormick is a popular American actress, author, and singer who was born on August 5, 1956, in California. When she was six, Maureen won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest which helped her get into the world of fashion and acting at an early stage. She was cast in several ad commercials for Barbie and Kool-Aid. She also appeared in Camp Runamuck (1965), My Three Sons (1960), and Bewitched (1964). She is most popularly known for her portrayal of Marcia Brady in the ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch which aired from 1969 to 1974. Maureen went on to work in several spin-offs of the film including The Brady Bunch Hour (1976- 1977), The Brady Kids (1972- 1973), The Brady Brides (1969- 1974), and A Very Brady Christmas (1988). She was also seen in other films, including The Million Dollar Kid (2000), Baby Huey’s Great Easter Adventure (1999), and Dogtown (1997). Maureen also pursued singing later in her career and in 1995, she released a country music album called When You Get a Little Lonely.
