Mary Murphy was an American film and television actress born on January 26, 1931, in Washington, D.C, USA. She came to the limelight in the middle of 1953 for her performance in The Wild One. In the following year, Mary was cast in Beachhead opposite Tony Curtis. She also appeared on Sitting Bull along with celebrity Dale Robertson. Some of the films that Mary has appeared in are A Man Alone (1955), The Intimate Stranger (1956), and The Desperate Hours (1955), to name a few. She also appeared in television shows like The Investigators, Perry Mason, The Tab Hunter Show, The Lloyd Bridges Show, Ironside, The Fugitive, The Outer Limits, and many more. She was cast in several other films such as My Favorite Spy (1951), When Worlds Collide (1951), and The Mad Magician (1954). She left television for a brief period but resumed her career with several episodic and short movies like Junior Bonner in 1972.
