Marie de Villepin is a French model, actress, and singer born on 8 May 1986 in Washington DC, United States. She is the daughter of France’s former prime minister and diplomat Dominique de Villepin. Marie got her first break as a model in 2005 when she was chosen for a fashion story shot for Elle Magazine. She gained popularity when she got her breakthrough through fashion house Givenchy for their perfume ‘Angel or Demon’ in 2006. As a singer, Marie is part of two different bands in France and the United States. She started her journey as an actor when she was offered the leading role of Julie Mahe in the movie ‘Baikonur’ in 2010. The film was critically acclaimed and was broadcasted on various international film festivals around the world. In 2013, she was chosen to portray Betty Catroux in the movie ‘Yves Saint Laurent’, released in France in early 2014. She also appeared in a fashion video by Rie Rasmussen in 2013.
