Miss American 2013, Mallory Hagan is currently pursuing a career as a politician, representing the Democratic Party. During her student years at the Fashion Institute of Technology, she was introduced to the world of beauty pageants. Interestingly, her placements in three Miss New York contests helped her cover her tuition fees as well. Shortly after Miss America, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Television. She was an evening news anchor of WLTZ TV as well. In 2010, she even started a business called ‘Define: Mind. Mission. Marketing’ which managed personal branding. In 2018, she completely shifted focus to politics and ran for Alabama's 3rd congressional district as a Democrat. She was endorsed by the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, the Alabama New South Alliance and the End Citizens United. However, she did not find success in her debut congressional run. Today, she manages Communication Direction for Michael Bloomberg's campaign.
