Mary made an appearance on Late Friday, and she also played several notable roles in Man on the Moon, Magnolia, Mysterious Skin, Road Trip, Punch-Drunk Love, Sweet Home Alabama, Little Miss Sunshine, and several others. In 2005 and 2007, Mary earned a Screen Actors Guild award nominations and other highly acclaimed performances of the actress including Storytelling, The Larry Sanders Show, Sunshine Cleaning, and Julia & Julia, among several others.
