Born in Seoul, Korea, Lucia Ahn, along with her sisters Angella and Marie, have come to be called the Trios. Lucia is a pianist and is dedicated to the revival of classical music in this era. Lucia started playing various instruments, trying out Mozart, and in her first concert as a teenager, she played the Beethoven triple concerto with her sisters. They have performed in more than 30 countries. Their second release won the ECHO Award. Remarkable composers such as Maurice Jarre, Mark O’ Connor, and Michael Nyman have written for them. They have also performed at the White House in the presence of President Obama in 2011. Their recent album ‘Lullaby for My Favorite Insomniac’ has become a wide sensation among music lovers. The music produced by Keith Jarrett greatly inspires her. Lucia has a private studio where she conducts master classes to propagate their style of music further.
