Liam Cunningham is an Irish actor who immortalized the character Davos Seaworth from the ‘Game of Thrones’ series. He was born in Dublin, and at the age of fifteen, he quit elementary school to pursue a career as an electrician. After moving to Africa for a brief period and returning to Ireland, he discovered his love for acting. He began to take classes and worked in several local theatres which included the Royal Shakespeare Company. His big break came in the form of the film, ‘Into the West’. Since then, he has appeared in several films and TV series including ‘War of the Buttons’, ‘Jude’, ‘Stranded’, ‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’, ‘Clash of the Titans’ and many more. For his extraordinary work, he has bagged two Irish Film and Television Awards and has even shared a BAFTA award with co-actor Michael Fassbender for the short film, ‘Pitch Black Heist’.
