Marie-Juliette Gréco was a French singer and actress. She was born on February 7, 1927, in Montpellier, France, and died on November 23, 2020, in Ramatuelle, France. She received the nickname "The Muse of Existentialists." She received a classical training at the Öpera in Paris. Gréco began her career as a theater and radio actress. Later she began to sing.She made her debut as a singer (1949) where she premiered songs with phrases by important French poets, such as Jacque Précert, Jules Laforgue, among others.
