Born in Edmonton, Canada, on November 25, 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy entered the acting world when she starred along with her sister in the 1988 commercial feature film 'Dead Ringers.' She gained a bit of recognition from that role and was offered to star in a Broadway musical called 'Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story' in 1990. Hennessy later starred in the science fiction feature film 'Robocop 3' as the formidable Dr. Marie Lazarus alongside Remy Ryan and Nancy Allen. However, one of her most notable roles was her portrayal of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in NBC's popular crime drama series 'Law And Order.' After leaving the show in 1996, Jill worked on coming up with a self-written, produced, and directed an independent film called 'The Acting Class,' which explored the intricacies of a dysfunctional acting class.
