With over 105.1K followers on Instagram, Jazz Jennings is an American LGBT rights activist, television personality, spokesmodel, and YouTube personality, who is well-known for being one of the youngest people who have been publically identified as a transgender person. Jazz got national attention when she had an interview with Barbara Walters. It led to several other high-profile appearances and interviews in 2007. Jazz is also the co-founder of the TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation, which she founded along with her parents. The foundation was made to assist transgender youth. Then in 2013, Jennings founded Purple Rainbow Tails, a company that fashions rubber mermaid tails to raise funds for transgender children. Jennings also hosts a YouTube series called ‘I Am Jazz’ and stars in a reality TV series by the same name. The series revolved around her life and premiered in July 2015.
