Jamelia Niela Davis is an English songwriter and singer, who is famous for her three albums, all of which have entered the Top 40 in the United Kingdom, adding eight UK Top 10 singles to her crown. Very popular, Jamelia has won a Q Award and four MOBO Awards as well. She has also received nine BRIT Award nominations so far. Jamelia began her career in music in 1999, with the debut single, ‘So High’. Soon the singer released another strong hit ‘I Do’. In June 2000, Jamelia finally released her debut full-length studio album, ‘Drama’. After that, the singer kept releasing successful singles like ‘Superstar’, which reached the No.3 spot on the UK Singles Chart and became Platinum-Certified in Australia. Jamelia released another two studio albums, ‘Thank You’ in 2003 and ‘Walk With Me’ in 2006. In 2009, she was the judge on the show ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’.
