Jakob Luke Dylan is an American singer-songwriter born on December 9, 1969, in New York, United States. After graduation, Jakob studied Art at the Parsons School of Design. Jakob formed a rock band along with Tobi Miller in 1989 named 'The Apples.' They released their first album in 1992. In 1995, they came up with 'Bringing Down the Horse,' which won them multiple Grammy nominations. Later, they came up with 'Red Letter Days' (2002) and 'Rebel, Sweet heart' (2005). They later collaborated with various singers and produced albums like Willie Nile's 'Streets of New York' (2005), Jesse Malin's 'Glitter in the Gutter' (2007), Shawn Colvin's 'All Fall Down' (2012), and Holly Williams' 'The Highway' (2013). Jakob came up with a solo in 2010, 'Women + Country.' Later the reunited band came up with 'Glad all Over' (2012).
