Irina Kulikova is a Russian classical guitarist. She was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia on April 30, 1982. She studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Austria), the Maastricht Conservatory (Netherlands) and the Gnessins Academy in Moscow. Kulikova, at the age of five, got her first guitar, at the age of eight, she gives her first performance in public. At only 12 years old, Kulikova was already a child star, playing all over Russia and festivals in Europe. At fourteen, her name appeared in Maurice Summerfield's book. Kulikova has performed at major festivals in Europe, North America, and Asia. She has received more than 30 awards for her musical talent and art, including Michele Pittaluga (Italy), Alhambra Guitar (Spain), Forum Gitarre Wien (Austria). Kulikova recorded her first solo CD of her (2005). The second production of her came out in 2009 and then a third in 2011.
