Based out of Conyers, Georgia, Holly Patricia Hunter was born on March 20, 1958. She made her acting debut in 1981 with Tony Maylam’s ‘The Burning’ alongside Brian Matthews and Leah Ayres. She then moved to Los Angeles and starred in some minor roles in television movies, before she signed to play a supporting role in the 1984 classic film ‘Swing Shift’.  Hunter then returned to doing minor roles in television shows and feature films. It was not until 1987 that her first big break came along and Hunter bagged a role in The Coen Brothers’ movie ‘Raising Arizona’. Holly also received a nomination for an Academy Award for her outstanding performance in ‘Broadcast News’, making her one of the most talked-about actors that year. One of her most prominent roles includes starring in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Always’, a romantic drama recreation of Henley’s ‘Miss Firecracker’ alongside Richard Dreyfuss.
