Born in Manchester, England, actress Holliday Grainger started acting at the age of 5 after being scouted for a T.V. series by BBC. She graduated from the Open University, after which she pursued a career in acting. One of her first professional appearances as an adult was in the 2011 T.V. series, ‘The Borgias’. In the same year, she cast in the movie Bel Ami alongside Uma Thurman and Robert Pattison. An adaptation of the ‘Great Expectations’ directed by Mike Newell, where she had the leading role, was screened at the BFI London Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. One of her best works is the stage production ‘Disassociation’, which received positive reviews from most viewers. She then went on to play the role of Bonnie Parker in the T.V. mini-series, ‘Bonnie and Clyde’. Other films include ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Animals’. Her most recent work can be seen in the BBC thriller, ‘The Capture’.
