Known for his comedic performances, Harvey Korman was born on February 15, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. He was a part of TV shows like Dennis the Menace (1959-63) and The Flintstones (1960), where he was the voice of The Great Gazoo. Korman made several guest appearances in shows like Route 66 (1960), The Donna Reed Show (1962), and The Eleventh Hour(1962-64). He rose to prominence with his stint on the musical The Danny Kaye Show (1963). The Carol Burnett Show (1967) took him to the high point of his career, and Korman, along with Carol, won four Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe nominations that culminated into an award in 1975. He went on to act in a villainous role in the film Blazing Saddles (1974), starring Mel Brooks, and various other roles in films like High Anxiety (1977), History of The World: Part 1 (1981), and Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995) yet again with Mel Brooks.
