With over 25K followers on Instagram, and born in 1958, Dame Glenda Adrianne Bailey, professionally and popularly known as Glenda Bailey, is the former editor-in-chief of the high-profile monthly fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar. Glenda became the magazine’s editor-in-chief in 2001. Before Harper’s Bazaar, Bailey was Honey’s editor in 1986, and she was also the face behind the launch of a fashion magazine named FOLIO. In 1988, Glenda became Marie Claire’s editor-in-chief and won 3 Magazine Editor of the Year Awards. For her human rights affairs coverage, Bailey also won 5 awards of Magazine of the Year, and two awards from Amnesty International. Glenda then became the International Editorial Consultant for all 26 Editions of Marie Claire in 1995. She then joined Harper’s Bazaar in 2001, and recently, Glenda made an announcement that stated that she is going to continue being a consultant.
