Born in New Zealand, Gina Bellman moved to England at the age of eleven. Always attracted to showbiz, the actress made a debut in the children’s soap opera, ‘Grange Hill’ when she was a teenager. Following this, she acted in the series ‘Labyrinth’. Her film acting debut came opposite Richard Gere with the film ‘King David’. What followed was one of the most memorable roles of Jane in the film, ‘Coupling’. For her role in the British TV series, ‘Blackeyes’, she earned fans across England. The TNT TV series, ‘Leverage’ made the industry take notice of her incredible acting abilities. For her performance in this series, she even bagged a Saturn Award nomination for the Best Supporting Actress. Gina is well-known as a stage actress as well. She appeared in productions by the Royal National Theatre as well as London’s West End Theatre during her career.
