Gayle King's career began as a Production Assistant at WJZ-TV in Baltimore. She has worked as a News Anchor for 18 years. Gayle became Oprah Winfrey's best friend and worked as a special correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show. She also co-hosted the NBC daytime talk show Cover to Cover. Later Gayle started her own show called The Gayle King Show. She has also been part of Good Morning America as a special correspondent. The talk show covered many topics, including culture and politics, where Gayle interviewed top newsmakers like Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama, Reba and delivered original Reports. In 2018 Gayle co-anchored CBS News Coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan. She is also the editor of the award-winning 'O', The Oprah Magazine.
