Born in 1986, in Monaco, Gaia Repossi is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the field. She attended the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she received a Master’s degree in Archaeology. At age 21, she became the fourth generation in her family to take over the Repossi company, succeeding her father. Gaia assumed the mantle of the director of creation and arts. She decided that the brand would take a completely minimalistic approach with a new sense of aesthetic. Gaia has also collaborated with artists such as Vivian Sassen as a part of a contemporary art project, which was mostly held at venues like the Gagosian Gallery in Le Bourget. After gaining some recognition with her appearances on the red carpet, she sold a minority stake to LVMH in late 2015. This move has led to an expanded portfolio in Repossi’s marketing figures over the years. Gaia reopened the Vendôme flagship in early 2016 with Rem Koolhas and OMA.
