He is an American actor and composer, and his work includes Terminator Salvation (2009), The Italian Job (2003) and The Dead Pool (1988). Duff is best known for his role in the hard rock icons Guns N' Roses. McKagan has provided bass for some of the most revered albums in the metal canon and continued life in music after GNR's initial early-'90s combustion. McKagan would ultimately come together with GNR for a reunion tour but kept himself busy throughout the 20-plus years after he bid goodbye to the band with solo projects and bands like Velvet Revolver and Loaded.
