Donald Sutherland is a legendary actor hailing from Canada. In his early youth, Sutherland used to work as a radio DJ but after getting his college degree in Drama, he started acting professionally. At first, Sutherland got featured in minor roles in some TV shows like Dr. Terror's House of Horrors in 1965, The Saint and Court Martial. With the last-minute recasting of the war film ‘The Dirty Dozen’ in 1967, Sutherland got his first major role as Vernon Pinkley in a feature film. Soon enough in 1970, Sutherland got another lead yet again in a war film called MASH 1970. One of the most successful movies of Sutherland's career is the Bernardo Bertolucci film 1900 that was based on the tenacious fascist President of Italy. Sutherland also appeared in JFK in 1991 and Without Limits in 1998. After a long career in 2017, Sutherland received an honorary Academy Award.
