Donald King is a well-known boxing promoter for top players and champions. Some of his high-profile clients include the world-famous Muhammad Ali, Salvador Sanchez, Larry Holmes aka The Easton Assassin, Mike Tyson, Roberto Durán aka Mano de Piedra, and several others. King has promoted more than 500 world championships, and when promoted by Don King Productions, around 100 boxers have been able to earn over $1M. King is also a supporter of the U.S. Armed Forces, and he has had active participation in visiting the troops as well. Don provides the AFRTS with free televised events, along with tickets for all the uniformed women and men to watch the live events of boxing. Born in 1931, Don is famous for the way he keeps his hair. Don became a full-time promoter in 1974, as he promoted the Ali-Foreman fight. Don continued to gain financial success as he dived into the 1980s-90s, and continues to do so.
