Growing up in a family of architects, Deedie Rose was always fascinated by the profession. However, she could not study architecture as the school that her parents were willing to enrol her in did not teach the subject. Her first ever real experience with architecture came from building her own home after getting married. Today, she works on several independent projects alongside architects like Sambo Mockbee, Nona Yehia and Coleman Corker. She is the artistic force behind these projects as she is known for her exquisite taste in jewellery, antiques and everything art. She is continuously working on transforming Dallas into a hub for artists. For this, she has even developed the Dallas Museum of Arts. It houses one of the best collections of architectural models that inspire the entire art community in Dallas. She has brought together some of the finest collectors from the industry to put their models and artefacts on display for the public.
