Born on October 12, 1942, David Yurman is one of the most famous Jewelers in the world. Along with his wife Sybil Yurman, a painter, he founded the David Yurman Enterprises LLC in New York City. In 1982, David came up with a new idea. He made a "Cable," which consists of helically twisted bracelets with gems adorned at their ends. The design was a rage overnight. In 2000, David Yurman collaborated with David Lipman for their first-ever advertising campaign. In 2003, his son, Evan Yurman, joined the company, and his work brought a unique freshness to the designs. Evan drew inspiration from natural textures, antiquities, and cutting-edge materials, thus giving a new dimension to the product mix. Rizzoli published a brand book for David Yurman Cable in 2017.
