Born in Philadelphia to a family of television stars and authors, Daphne Oz went on to become a nutrition author, and television host herself. She wrote her first book, The Dorm Room Diet, and got it published when she was only 20. Her appearance on television shows began with the publication and promotion of the book. She promoted the book on shows like Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, NPR Weekend Edition, as well as the show hosted by her father, The Dr. Oz Show. A year later, she published The Dorm Room Diet Planner (2007). She was one among the five hosts on The Chew for six seasons (2011-2017). She has made guest appearances on numerous shows and is currently judging the Food Network competition show, Cooks vs. Cons (2019). She has also replaced Christina Tosi on Gordon Ramsay’s MasterChef Junior. She is a recipient of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host.
