Christopher Walton Cooper was born on July 9, 1951, Kansas City, Missouri. Chris worked for a local theater company while studying in high school. He enrolled in the theater program at the University of Missouri and also took dance classes at Stephens College. After the theater classes, he supported himself by renovating apartments as he had a background in carpentry, served as a janitor, and even worked as a chauffeur. Chris had done many stage shows. He appeared briefly on Broadway in 'In The Fields.' In 1985 he performed in Sweet Bud Of Youth, The City of Hope, and Guilty By Suspicion. Chris Cooper also starred in Pharaoh's Army, A time To Kill, and The Patriot. In 2017, Chris lent his voice to Pixar's Animated film Cars 3. In 2020, Cooper played the role of a retired US Marine Colonel in Irresistible. He also appeared in the movie Little Women, which was nominated under six categories. Presently the Oscar Winner stays in Massachusetts.
